Kyle Tamar Brace was born on June 5th, 1964, in Albany, NY, to her late parents Abbie Lee and Waddell Brace Sr. From the very beginning, she fulfilled her life's purpose, completing her mission on the day it began. Kyle pursued her education in the Albany Public School system, focusing on administrative skills and management. She continued her academic journey at Hudson Valley Community College, specializing in computer science. Throughout her professional life, Kyle dedicated 30 remarkable years to serving the NYS Assembly, with her most recent role being with Majority Leader Crystal D. Peoples-Stokes.
Known for her charming and loving personality, Kyle touched the hearts of many in her community and everyone she encountered daily. Her kind and hilarious sense of humor instantly made people feel embraced and cherished. She believed in nurturing lasting and meaningful relationships with her family, friends, and community members. Kyle's direct approach to communicating about life allowed her to form profound connections, complemented by her close and personal relationship with God.
Kyle is survived by her children Kira and Daquan Young, and her siblings Dorethea, Wayne, Don-Anthony, Mandell, Stephanie, Carlton, Thomas, Paula, Harlan, Vincent Brace, and Sam Burton. She is preceded in death by her parents Abbie Lee and Waddell Brace Sr., and her siblings Joseph Jr., Rodney, Kenneth, and Krten Brace, as well as her grandparents Ollie Mae Hands-Johnson and Annabelle Brace-French. Her memory is cherished by her closest friends, in-laws, plethora of nieces and nephews, and colleagues who celebrate her life.
A service will be held on Saturday, June 15, at 11:00AM at Wilborn Temple COGIC, located at 121 Jay St., Albany. Visitation will take place 9:00AM-11:00AM before the service. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
