ALTAMONT-Kyle McKenty, 27 passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2016.
He was born on July 10, 1989 to Michael and Sharon (Jennings ) McKenty in Albany.
Kyle attended Guilderland High School where he played Lacrosse and Ice Hockey. He followed in grandfather's and father's footsteps becoming a tree climber and most recently worked for Anjoe Tree Service which he enjoyed very much. He was fun loving, funny, friendly person. He had a kind heart and will be remembered as a cherished son, brother and friend.
Kyle is survived by his parents, Michael (Lorraine Appio) McKenty of Altamont, Sharon (Michael Hill) McKenty of Prattvile, Alabama; sister, Mallory (Miles Powell) McKenty of Prattvile, Alabama; nephews, Logan and Mason Lundsford of Prattvile, Alabama; grandmother, Gloria Jennings of Mongomery, Alabama; aunt, Colleen McKenty, of Boyton Beach, Florida; uncle, Tim (Donna) McKenty of Coxsackie and several other aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Kyle's life will begin at 7pm on Thursday.
