Lakeysha Marie Turner
April 13, 1979 — April 15, 2023
Schenectady- LaKeysha Marie (Turner) Mills 44, passed away at home after a long battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family & friends on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Born in Albany she was the daughter of Gil Turner and late Judith Ann Kennedy.
Lakeysha took pride in working both of her jobs as a supervisor at Equinox and residential specialist at ACC in Albany New York. She also loved watching movies ,shopping ,spending time with her loved ones and her baby doggy.
In addition to her father, Lakeysha is survived by her Step Mother Sheila , her brothers James and Lamont as well as her loving husband Steve. She will also be missed by her three loving children Emahnee, Noreonna and James. Step Children, Corey And Mariah, her Best Friend Jennifer, puppy Bailey and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews .
She is predeceased by her brother Marcel.
All memorial contributions can be made to her children
Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 11am-2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A funeral service will begin at 2pm at the funeral home.
