COLONIE – Lana M. Lanese, 67, of Colonie passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 27, 2023.
She was born in Wynantskill a daughter of the late Ralph and Helene (Brod) Barringer. She was a graduate of Troy High School and Albany Business College. Lana worked for the New York State Law Reporting Bureau from 1978 until her retirement in 2010.
Lana was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a very giving person who enjoyed knitting, reading and the Hallmark Channel.
She was predeceased by her sister Grace Heath.
Lana is survived by her husband, Albert; her children, Kristy, Betsy (Dan) Neumann and Albert S. Lanese III; 3 grandchildren, Jack, Jillian and Jase as well as many cousins.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lana's memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, 139 S. Lake Avenue, Albany, NY 12208.
