COLONIE – Lance P. Endres, 42, passed away suddenly Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Born in Albany, he was the beloved son of Cheryl L. Ruede and the late Donald R. Endres, Jr.
Lance played baseball for Colonie's Little League, Babe Ruth, and high school. He also played football for school and Pop Warner. He graduated from Colonie High School in 1986. Lance was a hardwood floor specialist for over 20 years. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching football, fishing, and cooking. Lance liked being the chef at family gatherings.
Lance is survived by his wife, Kelly M. Endres; children Macaulay, Kahlia, Sophia and Adison Endres; siblings Jodi (Bill Sforza), Nicole (Tom Penny) and Scott (Lisa) Endres; grandfather William Carey; stepfather Michael S. Ruede and stepsiblings Courtney, Casey and Michael Ruede. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
Lance was predeceased by his grandparents, Ruth Carey, and Donald and Phyllis Endres.
The family would like to thank the members of the Colonie Police Department and staff at Clearview Center for the professional and dedicated services that were provided.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
