COLONIE – Laree A. Farrell-Lincoln, 18, of Colonie, passed away suddenly on Saturday March 16, 2013. The most precious gift that God had given to her family and friends, Laree has been taken too young from all those who love her.
She was born March 21, 1994 and is the beloved daughter of Patricia Farrell and Herbert Lincoln of Albany. Laree was the love of her mother's life and her whole world. Her parents loved and admired her spunk, free spirit and zest for life. Laree lit up a room when she walked into it. She was a 2010 graduate of Colonie High School at the age of 16. Laree was an Honors Student and graduated with Advanced Regents Diploma. She loved and was involved in cheerleading. Laree was a very gifted young lady who expressed herself through amazing art. Laree's friends meant the world to her, especially Jessie. She was loved by all who knew her and will be incredibly missed.
In addition to her parents, Laree is survived by her sister and best friend, Jena Lincoln of Stuyvesant Falls. She is the loving granddaughter of Max and Nancy Fischer of Albany and Maynard Lincoln Sr. and the late Patricia Lincoln of W. Ghent, NY. Laree is the niece of James and Karen Farrell of Maryland, Sheri Fischer of Albany, Toni Merchant, Geraldine and Dennis Woods all of W. Ghent, Theresa & Joseph Kaiser of Connecticut and the late Maynard Lincoln Jr. Laree was the adoring aunt of Ashton and Madyson Weaver. Many cousins also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 3 to 7 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie A prayer service will be held at 7:00 at the funeral home. Laree battled her demons with strength and courage, still maintaining her happy personality and contagious laugh. She loved children and enjoyed working with children.
