SCHENECTADY – Larry B. Kalisz, Sr., 63, of Schenectady, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at Ellis Center after an extended illness. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Bing and Marion Kalisz. Mr. Kalisz was a lifelong Capital District resident. Larry was a bass guitar player and played in various local bands since his high school years. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. Larry is the beloved husband of June E. Livingston. He is the father of Linda Fishman of Burnt Hills, Larry B. Kalisz, Jr. of Schoharie, Julie Myers of Saratoga and John Kalisz of Massachusetts. He is the cherished brother of Dianne Goss and her husband, Jim of South Bethlehem. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, his niece, Michelle Patterson, his nephew, Jeff Goss and several cousins.
Funeral services will be Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (RT. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 3:30 to 6:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shy-Drager Syndrome Support Group, 2004 Howard Lane, Austin, TX 78728 in memory of Larry B. Kalisz, Sr.
