Laura M. Moore, 82, of Guilderland, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Monday, July 27, 2015.
She was born in Colonie and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence Espey.
She was employed at Morgan Linen Service in Menands for 50 years, retiring in 2001 as Corporate Secretary.
Laura enjoyed family, home life and being with her friends at Marie Rose Manor in Slingerlands. She loved games, jigsaw puzzles and was a lifetime Yankee fan. Her laughter and sense of humor will forever be with us.
Laura was the beloved wife of the late Ross Moore and mother of the late Judith Moore. She is the devoted mother of her children; Shirley (Mark) Foster, and Douglas Moore and his fiancé Marina Franco. She is the cherished grandmother to Brian (Tara) Foster, Amy Foster and her fiancé Matthew Laidley. She is the sister of Florence Knighton, Helen Cornell, Sara Tate, and Donald Espey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Laura is predeceased by her siblings; Thomas Espey, Ruth Metzger, Mary Hitchcock, James Espey and David Espey.
A graveside service will be held at Albany Rural Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Ave, Albany, NY 12204, on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Laura's name to Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
