Laura Meister-Viger, 53, of Altamont, passed away suddenly on October 6, 2023 at Albany Medical Center.
She was born on May 8, 1970 to Victor and Annette Meister in Schenectady, NY.
Laura loved her family and friends, and was always willing to help in any way she could. She was always there for her Niece and Nephews. She was an avid lover of animals, especially her dog, Daisy. Music played a big part in her life as it related to her. You could always hear her playing something to fit the mood. Forever in our hearts, she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband Louis Viger, parents Victor and Annette Meister, sisters Deborah Mechlowitz and Heidi Meister, her brother Jeffrey Meister, and many nephews and a niece.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 13th from 5pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, New York. A funeral service will take place on Saturday October 14th at 10am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laura's name to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204 mohawkhumane.org
