SCHENECTADY-Laura P. Woodbeck-Howard, 54, of Dartmouth St. passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at her residence. Laura was born on December 25, 1958 in Schenectady, NY and was the daughter of the late Howard and Donna McNulty Woodbeck. Laura resided in Schenectady all of her life. She was a private home health aide that assisted Hospice and other area agencies. Laura was the owner of the Schenectady Metro Magic semi pro football team in 2000. She was the commissioner and Medic for Belmont Pop warner. She enjoyed tending to her plants and camping. Laura was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. She loved life, her family and everyone else she met along the way. Laura will be sadly missed.
Laura is survived by her beloved husband of 13 years, Niall Howard of Schenectady. She is the loving mother of Jeremy P. (Tonya) Howard, Sr. of Schenectady, Gary S. (Jeannette) Jason, Jr. of Pattersonville, and Alisha D. Jason of Schenectady. She is also survived by her grandchildren Asiaonna, Anastasia, Jeremy Jr., Dakota, Javier and Samantha; her siblings Christine DiMeo of Daytona, FL, Theresa (Tim) Gentile of Rotterdam, and Kenneth (Remi) Woodbeck of Schenectady; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services at 12:30 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
There will be no calling hours.
