DUANESBURG- Lauri Jean White, age 65, passed away on October 30, 2024 at her residence.

She was born in El Paso, TX, the daughter of the late Col. Floyd M. White and Barbara White of Schodack, NY. She was also predeceased by her grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was a 1977 graduate of Clayton A. Bouton High School, Voorheesville, NY. Lauri was a long time employee of the NYS Department of Taxation & Finance, retiring in 2016.

Lauri is survived by her significant other, Robert Van Wormer; her mother, Barbara White; children: Nicolas Trianni and Jessica (Dave) DiPietro; grandchildren: Faethe and John DiPietro; siblings: Dennis (Jenn) White of Selkirk, Vicki Driscoll of Temecula, CA and Patti (Tony) Miller of Camp Creek, WV. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

 The family would like to give a special appreciation to her caregiver Alisha Jason. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Thursday November 7, 2024  from  5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lauri’s name may be made to the Neurologic Disease Foundation, PO Box 173, Centreville, VA 20122.
