Laurie Wills Filkins

ALBANY – Laurie Wills Filkins, 47, of Albany passed away suddenly in Potsdam, NY on Christmas Day. She was born in Albany and is the daughter of the late John & Dorothy Wills.
Laurie worked for NYS Retirement System before moving to Potsdam. She was a caring and giving woman with a strong faith.
She is the mother of Marie and Michelle Filkins and the late Earl (EJ) Filkins. Laurie is the sister of Jack, Joe, Ken, Kevin Wills, Diane Koehler and the late James Wills. She is the dear friend of Steve Howarth, Sherri LaGray and Earl Filkins Sr. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm at Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A prayer service will be held at 6:45pm at the funeral home.
