August 5, 1935 — June 24, 2013

Lawrence D. Vaughan, 77, passed away on Monday, Jun 24, 2013. He was born on Aug 05, 1935 in Albany, NY to the late Elizabeth Taylor and Donald Kittle. Lawrence proudly served in the United States Army. He loved photography and his family.

In addition to his parents Lawrence is predeceased by his brother, Nicholas Hamilton and his sister, Dorice Vaughan.

He is survived by his sisters, Peggy Vaughan, Val Barrings and Leona Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many other close family members and friends.

The family would like to thank Albany Medical Center ER nurse, Gretchen and to his dear friend James "Guff" Guthrie, Jr. for all of their care and compassion given to Lawrence.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral service for Lawrence will be Saturday, Jun 29, 2013 at 12:00 pm at the New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 to 12 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Greenwich Cemetery.
