Lawrence Geddes

Lawrence "Larry" T. Geddes, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing Home.
Larry was the son of the late Ulysses Geddes and Charles and Leola Arsenault.
Larry proudly served with the United States Navy.
He was the devoted husband to the late Susan M. Geddes.
Larry was a member of the Joseph Zeloga Post, the VFW and a life time member of the Greenwood Lake Elks.
He loved his dog Buddy, he enjoyed art, photography and traveling.
In addition to his parents Larry was predeceased by his son, Michael Geddes.
Larry is survived by his children, Anthony (Diane) Geddes, Celine (Gary) Mell, Monique (Bill) Matuszek, Mark (Lisa) Geddes, Noel Geddes and Todd (Stacy Davis) Geddes. He is also survived by his brother, Charles (Laurene) Arsenault, thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, four nieces, and several great nephews and nieces.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Interment will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 12:00 pm in Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association - Albany 4 Atrium Drive Albany, NY 12205 in Larry's memory.
