Lawrence R. Adriance

RENSSELAER – Lawrence Raymond Adriance, 86, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Stratton VA Medical Center. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Raymond and Helen Adriance.

Larry was a lifetime resident of the Albany area. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Larry worked for Northway Motors for 20 years, and Thermoking for 5 years. He was a longtime sexton of Lisha's Kill Reformed Church. Larry enjoyed tinkering, doing yardwork, playing lawnball, bowling, and spending time with family.

Larry will be missed by his loving companion of 20 years, Marilyn Wood; son Lodi Wolf (aka Lawrence R. Adriance, Jr.) of Salisbury, NC; daughter Welthea Ling of Schenectady; siblings Robert Adriance and Kathy Pemrick; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 12:30 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to Lisha's Kill Reformed Church, 2131 Central Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12304 in Larry's name.
