Lawrence Sutton

MALTA – Lawrence G. Sutton, 94, of Malta, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2006. Born in Louisville, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Celia Sutton. Mr. Sutton lived in Messena for most of his life. He worked as a dairy farmer for many years before retiring. Lawrence is the beloved husband of 70 years to Mary Leffler Sutton. He is the devoted father of Robert L. (Joy) Sutton, Norman A. (Kathleen) Sutton and Celia (Nelson) Powers. He was the brother of Hiram, Merrill and Cecil Sutton. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 12:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 11:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in memory of Lawrence G. Sutton.
