Leetta Harrison

COLONIE- LeEtta "Mickey" Harrison, died on Friday November 16, 2007 at the age of 87. She was born in Amsterdam and died at her home in Colonie with the compassionate care of Community Hospice. LeEtta was the daughter of the late Agnes Curran and John McGuire. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin J. Harrison.
Mickey is survived by her children, Denise "Penny" Distin (Wayne), Catherine Harrison, Jacqueline Commerford and Timothy Harrison (Marie Buongiorno). She is the beloved grandmother of Jeremy Commerford (Tracey) and Stacey Ferguson (Dave) and great grandmother of Andrew McGuire Ferguson. She is the beloved sister and best friend of Katherine Burns of Snyders Lake, NY. LeEtta is also survived and loved by her step grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. With a great love for children, she was known by many family and friends as "Nanny".
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 9:45 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Pius X Church, Loudonville where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
