Lehman Brown

WESTMERE – Lehman Brown, 78, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Lehman was born on February 21, 1931 in Unityville, PA and was the son of the late Leonard and Margaret E. (Temple) Brown. He owned and operated Brownies Tree Service in Guilderland from 1964 to 2000. He enjoyed his business, trucks and NASCAR. He was a very generous man who enjoyed helping others and had many many friends. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Lehman is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia (VanDeusen) Brown; his children, Lehman L. (Eleanor) Brown of Greenwich, Candice M. (Stephen) Church of Voorheesville, and Michael E. Brown of Westmere; his grandchildren, Kenneth Brown of Ravena, Lehman L. (Jill) Brown Jr. of Colonie, Tyler G. Brown of Latham, Kimberly (Joseph) Wait of Schuylerville, Patricia Billings of Greenwich, Brandon J. Church of San Diego, CA, Stevie L., Landon C. and Nico Church all of Voorheesville; his great granddaughter, Sara Brown; his brothers, Carl Brown, William (Jo) Brown, and Rocky (Connie) Brown; his sisters, Irene (Bob) Girven and Shirley Kellogg and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Blaine, Leonard Jr., Doyle, and Kenneth Brown and his sister, Velma Devine.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will precede the service from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Albany Dialysis Center, 64 Shaker Rd., Albany, NY 12204 in memory of Lehman Brown.
