Albany- Leland Harvey Turner,91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022 in Sarasota, Florida. He was born on June 10, 1931 in Wyandotte, Michigan to Leland and Hilda (Webber) Turner.

He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and worked as an engineer for New York State. He was a US Army Veteran and a Shriner member. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling to Europe. He and his wife enjoyed wintering in Sarasota, Florida for over 20 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Caroline Gade Turner, and his sister Nancy Lee Larkins.

He is survived by his brother, David (Vicki) Turner of Beaver Falls, PA, sister, Olive Jane Snow of Sherwood, AR, several nieces, nephews, cousins,
and many friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at St. John's Lutheran Church, 303 Sand Creek Road Albany, NY on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11am. A visitation will be held prior from 10:30am-11am. Interment will follow the service at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
