Leo W. Frisino Jr., 65, of Albany, passed away on September 7, 2023 in a tragic hiking accident.
He was born on January 7, 1958 and was predeceased by his parents, Ann and Leo Frisino of Valley Falls, NY
Leo loved hiking especially with his grandkids. He truly enjoyed talking to people wherever he went. He was devoted to his family and his church family and was elected to the Deaconate in 2019. Most of all, He loved the Lord.
He and Sharm loved the ocean and visited Rhode Island as much as possible. He worked for NYS Office of Information Technology Services and enjoyed his job and the friends he made there.
Leo is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sharman, his stepdaughter whom he loved as his own, Jamie (Phillip) Gervasi, grandchildren Julia, Olivia and John, sister Lucia (Ted) and niece Krista (Raphael).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 16th at 11am at Albany Baptist Church 361 Krumkill Rd, Slingerlands NY 12159 with a reception immediately following.
Memorials are suggested to the Albany Baptist Church and/or Camp Pinnacle, 621 Pinnacle Rd, Voorheesville, NY, where he loved to volunteer.
