Leo Wells Ellis, Jr.
May 30, 1945 — June 6, 2014
Leo W. "Bucky" Ellis, Jr., 69, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2014 at the Hudson Park Nursing and Rehabilitation center with his family by his side. He was born in Albany to the late Leo W. and Dorothy M. Ellis. Bucky worked with General Electric for many years. He was an avid NASCAR and WWF fan.
In addition to his parents, Bucky was predeceased by his wife, Joanne Ellis and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his brother Greg (Susan) Ellis, his niece and nephew, Meredith and Matthew Ellis, by his step daughter Cindy Kellogg and by many cousins and close family members.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
