Leon Loftin

ALBANY- Leon "Buddy" Loftin 74, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Born in Kinston, N.C. Leon was the son of the late Marjorie Loftin.

Leon retired in 2006 from the Capital District Transportation Authority after providing 38 years of service. He was a dedicated member of the USMC.

Leon leaves behind to cherish his memory, three children Leona Loftin, Brian Loftin and Leshawn Terrell. Eight grandchildren Jaquna Albea, Eljahar Thompson, Elijah Thompson, Jazmin Thompson, Brianna Loftin, Leahmarie Loftin, Isaiah Loftin and Andrew Terrell. He is also survived by five great grandchildren aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road Colonie, NY on Tuesday January 12, 2021 from 10am to 12pm. Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of the chapels.
