Schenectady- Leona M. Butler, 94, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023. Leona is predeceased by her husband, Gerald G. Butler.
Leona was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with them and traveling with her husband.
Leona is survived by her sons, Thomas L. Butler (Cindy) and Andrew J. Butler (Debra). She was the loving "Nana" to Benjamin (Sarah), Nathaniel, Gabrielle, Max (Hunter) and her great grandchild, Riley.
In addition to her husband, Leona is predeceased by her son Gary G. Butler (Mary Jane).
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 11am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
