Leonard C. Belt

ALBANY- Leonard C. Belt 63, of Albany, passed away on Wednesday February 6, 2008 at his residence, after a long illness. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was the son of the late Jerome C. and Louise V. Stotler Belt. Len served in the US Army from 1966 through 1968.
He is the husband of Helen M. Helfrich Belt. He is the father of Leonard J. Belt (Doreen Ostrander), Teresa Jackson and Cindy Eck. He is the brother of Mary E. Carter, Linda M. Sommers, Nancy A. Prietz and Nora L. Stafford. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday evening from 4 to 7 pm at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A service in celebration of Len's life will be celebrated at 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
