Leonard G. Napierski

GUILDERLAND – Leonard G. Napierski, 64, of Guilderland, passed away suddenly at his residence on Tuesday January 24, 2012.
He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Eugene J. and Elizabeth Doran Napierski.
Len was employed with the US Post Office in Colonie for over twenty five years. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his generosity and willingness to help others. Len enjoyed playing golf, traveling and carpentry.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Karen A. Napierski. Len is the devoted father of Timothy L. (Samantha), Leonard James, Gregory W. and Michael L. (Constance Hogan) Napierski. He is the cherished brother of Eugene E. Napierski (Marissa Finn), Kathleen (Ron) Amedio and the late Robert Napierski. He is the proud grandfather of Carter T. Napierski. Len is the son in law of Dolores A. Marx and the late Leonard Marx. He is the brother in law of Kevin (Mary) Marx. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 9:15 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to Christ the King Church, Guilderland at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at the funeral home. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at 1:30 for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery Colonie.
