ALBANY – Leonard J. Robilotto, 91, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Hero's Way, under the care of hospice, at the Veteran's Administration Hospital. Born in Binghamton, NY he was the son of the late Anthony and Anna Robilotto. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, serving his country during World War II. Lenny worked for Schaffer Brewery, D&H Railroad and then the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Lenny is the beloved father of Michael J. (Nancy) Robilotto of Colonie and the cherished grandfather of Heather (Anthony) Fetch. Also surviving is his brother, Anthony (Willy) Robilotto and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Lenny was predeceased by his brother, Paul Robilotto and his sister, Rose Angerame.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Delmar. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the DAV, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45290 or Luke's Wings, 1238 Wisconsin Ave., Suite 401, Washington, DC 20007 in memory of Leonard J. Robilotto.
