Leonard W. Jackowski, Jr., AKA "Mr. Motion" of Niskayuna passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 20, 2019.
Lenny was born in Schenectady on December 30, 1947 a son of Leonard and Elizabeth Jackowski, Sr.
After attending college, he went to work for General Electric in 1966, working there for 42 years before retiring in 2008.
Lenny was an avid drag racing fan and a racer, purchasing a 1969 Chevy Camaro.
He also enjoyed bowling and going to the movies.
Lenny is survived by his loving partner of 33 years, Donna L. Taylor; her children, Lisa (Steve) Pasquarella, Michelle Ellis, and Mark (Nicole) Bickford. He was a loving Papa to 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Julianna, Rachel, Jacob and Jillian and a great children: Dexter and Chloe.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
