Leonard Kalamejski

AVERILL PARK – Leonard J. "Kal" Kalamejski, 84, of Averill Park, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Albany Memorial Hospital. He was born in Depew, NY and was the son of the late Frank and Martha Kalamejski. Mr. Kalamejski was a U.S. Army Aircorp.veteran, serving his country during World War II. Kal worked for the New York Central Railroad, the Walter Motor Truck Company, and more recently for New York State Office of General Services. He was a member of the Voorheesville American Legion Post. Kal is the beloved husband of 64 years to Cecelia M. Matthews Kalamejski. He is the devoted father of Leonard R. Kalamejski and his wife, Marilyn. He is the cherished grandfather of Cindy Cammuso and her husband, Mark, Leonard D. Kalamejski and Melissa Crandall and her husband, Scott. He is the brother of Frieda Fronczak of Buffalo, NY. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. Expressions of sympathy may be made at newcomerfamily.com
