ALBANY- Leonard C. Pitcher Jr., age 61, passed away suddenly on January 16, 2021.
He was born in Albany on June 28, 1959 to the late Leonard C. Pitcher Sr. and Lorraine Yanas Pitcher.
He is survived by his mother, Lorraine; sisters: Cynthia Benack, Lisa Pitcher (James Calvagno); brother, William E. Pitcher; three nephews: Sean (Josephine) Benack, Daniel Benack and Brendon Benack (Tatijana Gjergji); three great nieces, several cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Friday January 22, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
He will be greatly missed by his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope House Inc., 573 Livingston Ave., Albany, NY 12206.
