Leonce Noel

Leonce passed peacefully from this life the morning of December 9th, 2014 after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregivers during the last days of his life. Leonce was born on April 27, 1952 in Marchand Dessalines, Haiti. He has been in the United States since December 1980 and spent most of his life working at Bag Bazaar where he retired as a shift supervisor for over 20 years.



Leonce is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Marie Noel and his five children Winfred Noel, Tamara Noel, Guety Noel-Jeannot, Junia Jean-Baptiste, and Kevin Noel; (12) twelve grandchildren: Martine Noel, Britney Jean-Baptiste, Taylor Noel, Jaylen Jeannot, Ethan Jean-Baptiste, Ketyanah Noel, Emilie Jeannot, Teresa Dormilus, Justine Noel, Will Dormilus, Eli Noel and Eliah Noel . Leonce is also survived by his brothers Ulrick Noel and Bernard Noel; sisters Georgette Noel, Altagrace Noel and Andrea Noel.



Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 12:00PM at New Comer Funeral Home.

Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens in Colonie, NY
