Leonie "Lee" Gail Coletta, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Baptist Heath Nursing and Rehab center, with her loving family by her side.
She was born in East Greenbush on November 30, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Edmonde Eades, Sr. and Sally (Bolling) Eades. She attended Rensselaer Schools. Graduated from Albany High School in 1956. She was employed by Bethlehem Steel until moving to Binghamton in 1957, and then employed at the Broome County Mental Health Clinic. Upon moving back to Albany in 1967 she was baptized into the Catholic Church in 1968, where she volunteered in 2 parishes and typed for numerous priests throughout the diocese.
Lee was the devoted wife to the late Anthony E. Coletta. They were married on May 4, 1957.
Lee enjoyed reading, bowling, vegetable gardens, growing flowers, taking trips to California.
She was a communicant of St. Johns parish for over 30 years.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Anthony E. Coletta, Sr., her infant daughter, Marie Coletta, her sisters, Marge Berger, Jacqueline Miller and her brother Edmonde Eades, Jr.
Lee is survived by her children, Anthony (LeAnn) Coletta, Jr., Joseph (Jennifer) Coletta and Anne Marie Coletta. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Daniel and Jarrod Coletta, Britney and Austin Coletta, Travis (Kristen) Spencer, Kyle (Jessica) Reinhardt; 3 great grandchildren; sister of Jo McGarry, Patricia (Richard, dec'd) Pettengill, Nick (Dellaphene) Eades and sister-in-law, Mary Coletta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her caregivers at Schenectady County Hospice and visiting nurses for their care and support.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 806 Union Street, Schenectady, NY, entombment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
