BRONX, NY- Leora Weatherly, age 89, passed away surrounded by family on January 1, 2023.
She was born in Guilford, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Malinda and Nathaniel Herbin. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Weatherly and her grandson, Timothy Weatherly.
Leora worked in retail. She was a Jehovah Witness and a Pioneer.
Leora was a social butterfly. She enjoyed finding a good yard sale and enjoyed fishing.
She is survived by her daughters: Tammy Larrier (Stanley), Myrna Watson (Marlon), Heidi Weatherly (Carlton) and Sherry Best. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, grandson in law Terrance Collymore, granddaughter in law LaShawnda Weatherly, 13 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be sent to her daughter Tammy Larrier, 3236 Tenbroeck Avenue, Bronx, NY 10469.
