TROY-Leslie J. Lipkin, 87, originally from Amsterdam passed away on September 28, 2015 in Troy. He was born in Amsterdam to the late Anthony and Isabella Lipkin. He was a graduate of Amsterdam High School, and enlisted in the Navy and served in World War II and the Korean War. After serving in the military, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Amsterdam for 30 years, retiring in 1985. Leslie was predeceased by his sister, Gloria Carr. He was predeceased by his first wife Elizabeth Duncovich in 1977, and is survived by two daughters Lesley(Dominick) Cammarere and Laurie Cappuccio, and three grandchildren Joseph, Elizabeth, and Eric. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his second wife Catherine Lamaroux in 2010, and is survived by her children Robert, Thomas J., Gregory, Kathy, and Joseph Weyl, as well as their children.
