Leslie Eric Plaine

Leslie Eric Plaine- Leslie Eric Plaine, 65, passed away while under hospice care on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Born in Schenectady on July 6, 1955 he was the son of Louis Plaine and the late Barbara Plaine.

Leslie was a businessman who was the owner of Plaine & Son Bike & Ski Shop and three additional bike and ski shops in the capital district, up until his retirement in 2018.
Leslie enjoyed winter vacations in Florida in his RV.

He is survived by his wife Linda and his children Gabrielle Carpenter and Matthew Plaine who will greatly miss him.

He is also survived by his siblings; Ronnie Plaine (Susan) and Mitchell Plaine (Barbara) as well as his mother in law, Shirley Papa and sister in law Karen Papa and nieces and nephews on both side of the family.

Leslie was a lover of all animals including horses, dogs, cats and had a big heart for donkeys and opossums which are sacred animals.

A Christian graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205 all are welcome to attend.
