DELMAR-Lewis J. De Voe passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Born in Albany, Lou was the son of the late Sophie De Voe.
Lou was a resident of Delmar for 40 years. He worked in the transportation business for over 50 years. Lou worked right up until his illness wouldn't allow him to work. He enjoyed all his co-workers and clients throughout his years in the business. Lou never really saw himself retiring except for his 2 months in the summer when he enjoyed camping, friends, family, his pool and summer time fires. In the winter he would spend his time bowling in his Friday night league and several other leagues and tournaments throughout his life. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren bowl. Bowling was a true passion of Lou's, he even bowled a few perfect 300 games.
He was husband of the late Marion J. De Voe, the love of his life who he missed dearly since the day of her passing.
He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Jane P. Kuon.
