Liam Agostino Diroma

COLONIE – Liam Agostino DiRoma, 2, became an angel while in the loving arms of his parents on Friday July 5, 2013. He is the cherished son of Agostino Korey DiRoma and Kristine Rose Martino of Colonie. Liam was born July 29, 2010 in Niskayuna and blessed his loving family with almost three full years of joy and incredible smiles.
He is the loving grandson of Gloria and Stanley Gasorowski of Colonie, Sam Martino Jr. of Colonie, Agostino and Sun DiRoma of Louisiana. He is the beloved nephew of Korena DiRoma of Washington, DC and Steven Martino of Colonie.
Liam was born a happy, giggly baby who was diagnosed at six months with a rare and typically incurable cancer called Neuroblastoma. He fought through his short life wearing an enthusiastic grin, flirting with nurses and making his parents and family the happiest and most blessed people in the world. Liam showed everyone that no matter what life brings, a playful spirit can always live it with joy and happiness.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 9:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Liam Agostino DiRoma may be made to Van Andel Institute, Development Dept.
