NISKAYUNA – Liliana Sprinceanu, 67, of Niskayuna, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 after a long illness. Born in Bucharest, Romania, she was the daughter of the late Gheorghe and Elena Georgescu. Mrs. Sprinceanu was a resident of Niskayuna since 1977. She worked for General Electric Company, retiring in 2000. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed traveling and reading. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and loved playing with her grandchildren. Liliana had an enduring and undying love for her family. She will always be remembered as being a wonderful raconteuse who loved flowers and gardens. She took great joy in the happiness of others and offered constant guidance, advise and wisdom. Liliana is the beloved wife of almost 45 years to Hariton Sprinceanu. She is the devoted mother of Corina Sprinceanu-Baugh and her husband, Robert of Colonie and Sandra Sprinceanu-Budka and her husband, Thomas of Shirley, MA. She is the cherished grandmother of Jacqueline Sprinceanu Budka and Nicholas Sprinceanu Budka and Elena Dacia Baugh and Constance Sofia Baugh.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Armenian Apostolic Church, 100 Troy-Schenectady Rd., Watervliet. Calling hours will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
