Albany- Lillian B. (King) Waters, 86, passed away on December 22, 2015 in Pittsfield, MA.
The daughter of the late McGurthay and Louise Mae (Roberts) Carr, Lillian was born on June 15, 1929 in Dames Quarters, Maryland.
Lillian worked as a registered nurse for many years in Philadelphia, PA.
Lillian leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Sylvia (Rod) Flakes, Henry (Esther) King, Kendon (the late Susan) King, John (Lrma) King and Jana (Christopher) King; her siblings: Velma, Gertrude, Berly; her sister-in-law Ruth; her loving grandchildren: Gwendolyn, Susanne, John Jr., Bridgette, Derian, Stefon, Erica, John, Phillip and Arielle; her ex- husband, Henry King Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, Lillian was predeceased by her siblings: Clarence, Catherine, Katrina and Joseph.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 30 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 26 Wilson Ave, Albany.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lillian's name to Macedonia Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, 26 Wilson Ave, Albany, NY 12205.
