PAHRUMP, NV – Lillian D. Barnett, 94, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2006. Lillian worked for Huyck Felt Company for many years before her retirement. She lived most of her life in Albany and Colonie with the last several years in as Vegas. She enjoyed summers at Sacandaga Lake and winters in Las Vegas playing the slot machines. She kept busy doing crossword puzzles, shopping at the mall and playing cards with family and friends. Lillian was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. For her grandchildren, Saturday lunch at Gram's was a tradition. Lillian was predeceased by her beloved husband of 41 years, Alfred A. Barnett and her sister, Anna Mae VanValkenburg. She was the devoted mother of Joan Nielsen and her husband, Erik of Pahrump, NV, Patricia Rozniewski and her husband, Anthony of Colonie and Nancy Savoie and her husband, John of Las Vegas, NV. Lillian is also survived by her six cherished grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 21, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Clare. There will be no calling hours. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
