SCOTIA – Lillian Frascatore, 93, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 after a long illness. Born in Naples, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Nicoletta Speranza.
Lillian was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Schenectady. She liked reading, sewing, cooking and listening to music. Lillian enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She brought wisdom and light to everyone she met.
Along with her parents, Lillian was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Joseph A. Frascatore.
She will be missed by her children, Joseph P. (Jill) Frascatore of Scotia and Jeanne J. (James) Curtin of Rotterdam; siblings Vincenzo Speranza, Carmello (Lillian) Speranza and Nettie Caputo; grandchildren Jeremy (René) Curtin, Marc Curtin, Nico Frascatore and Noelle Frascatore, and great-grandchildren Nathan, Emma and Trevor Curtin.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the immediate family.
