Schenectady – Lillian H. Oddy, 87, passed away Thursday April 7, 2011 at Dutch Manor Nursing Home.
Lillian was born in Schenectady the daughter of the late Daniel and Lillian (Evans) Schofield and was a lifelong area resident. She worked for Traveler's Insurance Company for many years and later in life worked for Burns Security. She enjoyed music and singing and was a lifelong member of Christ Church. Lillian was predeceased by her husband Raymond C. Oddy, her brother Daniel W. Schofield and her sister-in-law Marion Schofield.
She is survived by her beloved son Raymond D. Oddy, daughter-in-law Gail Oddy and niece Karen (Schofield) Lawrence.
Lillian's family would like to thank the entire family of Christ Church of Schenectady and especially David, Carol, Myra and Fr. Brad for their loving care. They would also like to thank the staff of Dutch Manor Nursing Home.
The funeral service will be Tuesday 11:00am at Christ Church 970 State St., Schenectady. A period of visitation will precede the service form 10:30 to 11:00am at the church.
