Lillian I. Forsell

COLONIE – Lillian Irene (Lewis, Marron) Forsell, 78, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Aline Lewis.
Lillian was a graduate of Catholic High School and also attended college at SCCC. She worked as a Special Education teacher's assistant with BOCES for 20 years before retiring. Lillian was an avid reader and a square dancer.
Lillian was predeceased by her son, Michael Marron, and brothers Richard and Robert Lewis.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Herman Forsell; children Dr. Joseph (Kathy) Marron, Maureen Marron, Jim (Colleen) Marron, and Dr. Jeanne Marron; grandchildren John Musto, Nicole Marron, Joseph Lennon, Cindy Marron, Kristin Lennon, Catie Marron, Bryanna Marron, Kasey-Aline Marron, and Kimberly Marron, and sister Mary (Patrick) Smith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, Loudonville. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
