Colonie- Lillian M. Murray, 92, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May, 16, 2012 at the Teresian House. She was born in Ottawa Canada and resided in the Albany area since 1950.
Lillian was married to Gordon Murray for many years before his passing in 1976. She is the beloved mother of Barton (Lorraine) Murray and the late Glenda Jones. Lillian is the cherished grandmother of Gordon Jones, Howard Jones and Eric Murray. She is the great grandmother of Logan, Kailey, Lorelai and Aubrey.
Lillian had worked for GEX Department Store pharmacy and later at Bellevue Hospital. She will always be remembered with a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday morning at 9:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave Ext., Albany, NY 12203 in memory of Lillian M. Murray.
