Lillie Mae Pompey

TROY-Lillie Mae Pompey, 70, of Fourth St. Troy passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at her residence. Lillie was born in Clarendon County, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Wesley and Estelle (Ned) Pompey. She retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass in Delmar after 25 years of service.
Lillie is the beloved mother of Carlinda Pompey of Troy and Sylvia Pompey of Troy. She is the loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Lillie also leaves behind her lifelong companion Franklin Rowlett of Troy and his son, Ducha' Rowlett of Troy, 3 sister in laws, 1 brother in law and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lillie was predeceased by 5 sisters and 7 brothers.
Calling hours will be held from 9 to 11AM on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie with a funeral service to immediately follow at 11AM.
Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Troy.
