ALBANY- Linda A. Swift(Curfman), 53, passed away on Saturday, June 4th 2016, with her sister Carol by her side after a battle with cancer.
Linda was born in Jackson, TN, and she grew up in Colonie, NY. She was a graduate of Colonie Central High School in 1982.
Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her son, Dan who is currently in the United States Navy. He was her pride and joy.
She enjoyed the latest fad of coloring. She cherished the many hours her mother spent with her doing word puzzles, reading, and keeping her company.
Linda is survived by her son, Daniel R. Swift, her husband, Henry H. Swift, her mother, Marjorie A. Marron, her two sisters; Gail DeCelle, and Carol (Skip) Noxon, her stepsiblings; Maureen Marron, Joe (Kathy) Marron, James (Colleen) Marron, and Jeanne Marron, several nieces and nephews, and Linda's longtime companion, Marc Gedacht.
She is predeceased by her father, James W. Curfman, her stepfather, Joseph Marron and her stepbrother, Michael Marron.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 11:00am-12:00pm with a memorial service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
