Linda Ann Cook

Linda Ann Cook, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Oct 26, 2012. She was born in Albany, NY to the late Bernard and Viva O'Hare. Linda was a past president and active member of the Guilderland Elks ladies auxiliary lodge #2480. She worked for over 26 years at the Guilderland Elementary School and loved camping, traveling and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Patricia Meyer.

She is survived by her loving husband, best friend and travel companion for over 44 years, William, she is the cherished mother to Brian (Christina)Cook and Sandra (Mark) Nystoriak, caring step-mother to Darlene (Jim) Blauvelt, Keith (Kathy), Billy and Peggy Cook and adoring grandmother of Zach, Michael, Alex, Lindsey, Nicole, Dylan, Stephanie, Angelica, Zander, Nicholas and Joshua. She is the sister of Bernard (Janice) O'Hare. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service for Linda will be on Wednesday at 9:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
