LATHAM - Linda Mae Beaver of Latham, NY passed away Sunday April 9th at home with her loving husband of 45 years by her side.
She was born on May 21th 1954, the youngest of four children.
Linda was a devoted mother to her three daughters, giving up her career to be a stay-at-home mom. She later returned to work as a secretary, working for the State of NY until she retired. Linda was a lover of sunshine, especially sunsets, visiting the beach, watching soap operas and dancing whenever she could. Linda and Stephen enjoyed many activities together: golfing, their pool, skiing, and going out to dinner. Linda also loved spending time with her three daughters and eight grandchildren as much as possible. She has spent the last several years being cared for by her husband and spending quality time with her dog, Tigger.
She is survived by her husband Stephen Beaver, their three daughters; Kimberly Higgins (Shawn Higgins), Lauren Ward (Kevin Ward) and Meghan Farley (Brent Farley), her brother Paul Dunklerley (June Dunklerley) and her sister Janet Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her mother Miriam Dunklerley, her father Harry Dunkerley and her brother Peter Dunkerley.
