Linda Ann Craven, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Linda was the daughter of the late John and Alice Purtell of Averill Park.
Linda was employed by the BASF Corp. in Rensselaer and later with the Country Trunk Gift Shop where she made a number of good friends.
Linda enjoyed shopping and spending time with her eight grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Linda was predeceased by her daughter Jann C. Leonard, her siblings, Nancy E. Momrow and John T. Purtell Jr. and her former husband John F. Craven.
Linda is survived by her children, Susan (Timothy) Fox and Stephen (Estelle) Craven and her son-in-law Thomas Leonard. She is the cherished "Grammy" of Jessica, Evan, Victoria, Rebecca, Adam, Amanda, Emily and Michael. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Funeral service will be private. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023
