ALBANY – Linda D. Newsome, 59, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at her home. She was born on May 26, 1952 in Richmond, VA and was the daughter of the late Leroy and Rose (Cook) Newsome. She was a home health aide for many years.
Linda is survived by her loving daughter, La'Shon N. Gresham; her stepmother, Jean Eversley; her siblings, William Cook, Calvin Newsome, Rose Cook, Karen (Johnny) Bobo; her special friend, Carlton Bellamy and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment, Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
