Johnsonville- Linda S. Foster, 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2024 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Joan Elliott. Linda was the devoted wife to Richard D. Foster. They were married 43 years.

Linda worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant where she provided kind compassionate care to her patients and her family until her retirement.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them. She loved listening to Irish music, face timing her great grandchildren, coffee time with her daughter, monopoly go, and Donald Trump. Most of all she loved celebrating Christmas and being surrounded by all those she loved.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her children, Richard Foster and Kathy (Tom) Wilkinson; grandchildren, Jesse Foster, Jordan (Elizabeth) Foster, Caitlin Foster, Tommy "Louie" Wilkinson, and Sarah "Rosie" (Jake) Loya; great grandchildren, Emma Reighlyn and Jayce Loya; sister, Carol (Calvin) Phillips; brother, Michael Elliott; furbabies, Dodge, Gizzy, and Kitty Foster; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Albany Medical Center who provided care to Linda and her family as well as a special thank you to Linda's dear friend, Wilma for all the love and care she provided.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be in Linda's name to your local animal shelter or rescue.
